I've never given a book low ratings for character deaths because they do not always represent the author's writing abilities, are often necessary for the story to progress and are a nice reminder that life not only has its joys and excitement but is also accompanied with loss and misery. I've never let a book rating suffer because of character deaths. But this book will be an exception. I've never felt anger after reading a character death, until now. After that point in the story, I did not care at all for it. I had lost all interest. And I, in all consciousness, cannot make myself give this book a higher rating because I am so heart broken that I even contemplated about finishing the book.
