I agree with the first comment left for this book. The ending is realistic, sweet, and satisfying. This is the second book I have read by this author and I'm now going onto her third book. I have enjoyed her storytelling immensely. Her characters are believable and the way God works in each situation is so encouraging. I felt this book moved a little slower than her first novel, "home another way", but I still really liked it. Her books have an element of mystery to them that keeps you hooked until the end. Great read!

I really enjoyed Christa Parrrish's second novel "Watch Over Me." It is a beautifully written, heart wrenching book. I am wary of christians writers because so many of them get away with it, plus there are so many readers for those kind of book. Yes I'll admit I do read those "books" but it's always a disappointment in the end. Not with Christa's Parrish. She has you from the first page, and it's real, the characters pain is real. The real topper for me is that her endings are happy, but their bittersweet, and their realistic, and satisfying!
