Loved the wayfarers from throughout time, myth & imagination converge at mysterious inn during "reality storm".
Artists' style so varied from bubble gum, creepy to steampunk.
Ditto the ambitious ending, if PTSD protagonist really back in his own slightly modified universe or in a parallel universe with small changes.
Definitely not for kids with bigger ideas & concepts other than costumed superheroes that leaves the reader to think.
Highly recommended for adults.

Stories within stories within a story.

I was worried I wasn't going to enjoy it as much because I prefer an overall story arch instead of little compilations of stories, but these was actually pretty good.

APL Ruiz's resident authority on comics has called Watchmen "the Citizen Kane of graphic novels" and I agree it's a staggering achievement, but I now think The Sandman reaches farther and deeper.

Highly recommend (the whole series!). I love that Stephen King did the intro! 2 of my favorite authors here :) The stories are interesting and beautifully told as always :)
