In yet another exciting book, Johnson bonds the reader with the character's' dangers, emotions, and adventures. As Kate, Anders, and Erik try to decipher a mystery, they run into more than they thought they would. Kate has to figure out how to trust God instead of trying to do everything herself, and Anders learns several things about Kate that gives him a new outlook on everything. Erik is once again always there to help and is a big piece in the reason Kate chooses to trust in God. Lois is a great writer that will keep you reading until the last paragraph. She mingles so many lessons and throws in so many twists you never know what to expect--but you always love the way she ends it all. Johnson also makes everything seem realistic with a map of Minnesota in the front and she also marks all the main places Kate stops at. Overall, the book should be number one on your reading list!
