The third in a series. Do read in order. This is an amazing series with a broad range of characters and events. See my review of the first in the series. Doug Lowe

The Library Journal says: // It's not every novelist who regularly speaks at TED conferences . . \\ Thank the gods for that, otherwise we would be plagued with a bunch of neverending submediocrities. The really decent novelists must eschew those TED talks out of sheer decency!

Although the book explores a little more about the America outside of Union Grove in parts of this book, I found the ones leading up to this one to be more compelling in general.
It's starting to seem that J.H. Kunstler is really just yearning for a simpler time rather than truly projecting the probable future.
