When Meg arrives as Whispering Creek she's riddled with anxiety and suffers from panic attacks, but gradually she heals. The author delves into other issues such as soon what God calls you to do even when it's not what's expected of you, and the belief in the truth of Romans 8:28. "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose."
This is a light read, perfect for lazy Sunday afternoons or summer evenings.

Comment
Add a CommentI have been waiting for over 6 weeks for this book to be returned. It was due July 5th and I am first in line to check it out. It still has not been returned.
I stopped reading at page 85. The book is overly sappy and annoyingly too predictable. I see the ratings and I know that I am the anomoly. I just could not get into this book, I tried. After much effort it was reduced to skim material. Next book please.
