Linda Robinson is a recipient of the Gerald R. Ford Prize for Reporting [that should clue anyone in] and a writer at Morty Zuckerman's rag, US News and World Report [he tried to give that rag away awhile back, but had no takers] and appears to be a rah-rah cheerleader, bereft of any neurons capable of analytical thinking. Yes, the Special Forces trained the Shah's troops, Saudi troops [for better beheadings????], and future members of Mexican drug cartels at the School of the Americas, but supporting oligarchs and criminals wasn't their original mandate from President Kennedy. It was to support pro-democracy insurgencies the world over, exactly what the SEALs WERE SUPPOSED to be involved with --- not overthrowing democratically elected governments.
