I enjoy Andy Carpenter and his wife, their humor, their relationship, their dog, their friends. These murder mysteries are a fun read. This is the third of this series I've read (all out of order) and I've enjoyed every one. They are feel-good stories that center on a good man, his family and friends. The stories also include suspense, tension and mystery. All in all, an entertaining read.

I absolutely love the humor of this author and the series with Andy Carpenter, Tara and all supporting cast continues to totally entertain me. Plenty of suspense, lots of twists and turns, and always a great sprinkling of self-deprecating humor. I dread catching up to the last in the series as then I will be in the position of anxiously awaiting the newest offering!

A very good read. Edge of my seat wondering what would happen and whodunit. Excellent read with some humour.

A patron review from the Adult Summer Game: "I just started reading this author and love his books. Rosenfelt continues the Andy Carpenter story, but you could follow the story line even if this is the first book of his that you read. If you love dogs, humor and good stories you will love this series. A perfect read for the summertime."

A quick, fun read. Author reminds me of Robert Parker.
