Great book for the novice interested in medicinal herb. This book provides clear, concise info about the plant, clean, crisp pictures of the plant, as well as how to use the plant and recipes. It lacks info in regards to how large a plant might get or how to grow it, but that info can be found someplace else.

I checked this book out so often I finally purchased my own copy. An excellent book on beginning Herbal Medicine. Tinctures, teas, salves, and much more are introduced in the beginning with clear instructions on how to do them all.

The section on the 35 best herbs for a medicinal garden is comprehensive and manageable enough for a novice herb grower.
