Low brow, vulgar and a revolving door of ridiculous non events. My first and last by this author.

Love all her books.

I decided to read this entire series but I'm now doubting my commitment to continue. The writing in the books 20+ is so bad, it made me wonder if the first books of the series were as good as I remembered. To any first time readers, stick…

This was the first Stephanie Plum novel I read and I'm quite sure it'll be the last. Plum is not a particularly forceful character and her sidekick Lula is atrocious. The plot of the novel - if you could call it that - was to say the least…

The writing was funny. I was really looking forward to reading the book of this author that had been highly recommended to me and then... gratuitous sexual innuendos. Blech!

JE always makes me laugh and puts me into a great mood. I'm not young enough to be Stephanie, nor big and flashy enough to be Lulu, so will have to plan to be Grandma Masur. This book delivers a great adventure with 3 characters who have…

Having lived in New Jersey I love the references to the area. Always get a few laughs from this series. Fun and easy to read.

I had a few good laughs from this story but on the whole the storyline is rather implausible. Best part was Stephanie and Ethel the snake, followed by Judy and the gnomes. Mystery involving zombies, drugs and missing heads and brains, not…

If you're down and out, this is a writer who knows how to make you laugh. I thoroughly enjoy her series, the description of characters, and the details of location; transports you into the story. Her plots are bizarre, but possible which…

March 14.2018 I still love this series, no matter the fact that no one seems to get any older. I read this just purely for the entertainment factor. Is it great writing? No, but does it entertain me? Absolutely! I look forward to…

Contrary to all the negative comments I thought this was a great book. Funny, suspenseful, a wacky and wild escapade that only Stephanie Plum would find herself in! Another great book by Janet Evanovich!

I read this book with the hope that it would be better than the last 10 but sadly it wasn't. I really need to stop reading this series. I really enjoyed the first 9 books in the series but the story line has gotten progressively worse. …

Thought this book was good. Typical Stephanie and Lula drama but it would be nice if Morelli finally manned up and married Stephanie.

Reads like it was created with random items plucked from a hat. Very flat. And seriously, Plum One was 23 years ago. I miss that Stephanie, VI Warshawski in training heels. Reminded me of the real "Jersey girls" in my family, like…

The story line was fine, the usual fun silly ideas - that part didn't disappoint... But, there was everything wrong with Stephanie and the other main characters, and even the side kicks - they were barely cardboard cut-outs of themselves,…

So funny! I loved it!

Unneeded and repeated rightwing snark ruins a basic mystery. There are interesting mystery writers out there. Read them.

The first few Stephanie Plum books? Inventive, fresh and very funny. The 24th in the series? Snooooooze. Evanovich has obviously used the same successful outline for every book. Rex, Joe, Ranger, Lula, Grandma and her gun, open casket…

What a mistake it is to keep writing this series. Each time I expect the delight and whimsy that was Stephanie and her cohorts. Instead we are dredging the bottom of the river. Please add the cement boots and drown this series.

Yuck. I'm so disappointed. Are the last two written by men? Only men would think Stephanie would take such a dive in her personal life-flitting emotionally between men of all types. Where is her personal standards?

Fun-filled Burg characters join Stephanie Plum in this laugh-out-loud adventure. Morelli, Ranger and Diesel are all competing and Stephanie is the prize - if they can round up and solve the zombie problems. It has been a long wait,…

Maybe I'm just getting bored with this series, or maybe I just don't like Diesel and any storyline he's involved in. Also, more Ranger is always a good thing, however I think it's time for Ranger to move away and for Stephanie and Joe to…

I was quite disappointed in this one! After waiting so long for the new Stephanie Plum novel, I found this one to be even fluffier than the rest of the series (an accomplishment for a series that is on the lighter side of comedy/mystery).…

HARDCORE TWENTY-FOUR, Silly, stupid, what a chore, Stephanie’s plots have become a bore, I’ll read this series NEVERMORE!
